About

"Just the facts!" Detective Thursday, Mafia Murders

"Batter up!" Throwing out the first pitch at Nats Spring Training 2016.

Lori Muhlstein, Chief Expression Officer

I am an accomplished trainer, facilitator, and improviser. I've combined my successful corporate career in management, sales, marketing communications, and learning with a background in performing arts to develop fun and meaningful learning experiences that integrate improv and role-play.

Throughout my career, I have worked with clients across industries including healthcare, local and state government, finance, and real estate/property management among others. I have a Masters of Public Administration from American University in Washington, D.C., a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of New York at Albany, and certifications in sales training and Strengths Deployment Inventory. I have also completed The Second City's ReWire U, a three-day improv program for business professionals.

In my "other life", I've cut my teeth in local theatre and have been fortunate to have the opportunity to perform in and direct many award-winning productions. When I am not leading workshops and helping professionals improve their communications skills,  I can be seen helping audiences solve crimes in interactive murder mysteries and performing improv with StageCoach Theatre's improv troupe The StageCoach Bandits in Ashburn, VA.

In the spring and fall, you can find me cheering on the Nats!
